Cheesy roasted potatoes recipe

Today I share a recipe for making the best out of your potatoes, in the French way

Cheesy roasted potatoes

  • 4 medium potatoes, suitable for roasting
  • 4 slices of ham or bacon rashes (or a small package of diced bacon)
  • 12 thick slices of tasty cheese (Camembert, Munster, …)
  • a spoon of olive oil
  • a spoon of freshly chopped parsley


  • clean well the potatoes and wrap them in tin foil with a drop of olive oil
  • oven bake for 30′ at 200°, until the skin is crispy
  • halve the potatoes and put them on a deep baking tray, face up
  • cover with ham/bacon
  • put the slices of cheese on top
  • sprinkle the parsley
  • bake in preheated oven (180°) for 15′
